Who can join

Membership is open to anyone with a scholarly or practical interest or active involvement in the field of legal pluralism.

Membership benefits

As a member of the Commission, you will enjoy a range of exclusive benefits, including:

  • Journal subscription: An annual subscription to our peer-reviewed journal, Legal Pluralism and Critical Social Analysis.
  • Event discounts: Reduced rates for select Commission events.
  • Voting rights: The ability to participate in select decision-making processes of the Commission.
  • Regular updates: A subscription to our mailing list, keeping you informed about upcoming events and activities in the field of legal pluralism.
  • International network: Membership in a vibrant, global community of scholars and practitioners dedicated to exploring and advancing legal pluralism.

The ongoing support of members is essential for sustaining our activities such as our conferences, journal publications and initiatives to support early career scholars through courses and workshops.

Membership terms and fees

   * Term: Membership is valid for a calendar year and is renewable annually from 1 January.

   * Fees:

        **  €32 per year for standard membership (includes online journal access).

        ** €53 per year for premium membership (includes both online access and a printed copy of the journal).

How to become a member

1. Application: Complete the membership application form.

2. Payment: Make your payment via the PayPal link provided in the form. 

3. Submission: Email your completed form to info@commission-on-legal-pluralism.com.
