We welcome original articles that reflect on, engage with, or are inspired by her work, particularly in the fields of legal pluralism, the intersection of law and society, and the socio-legal dynamics of Southeast Asia and beyond.

This special issue aims to celebrate and critically reflect on the lasting impact of Keebet von Benda-Beckmann’s scholarship and to further the conversations she helped shape.
