As Editor-in-Chief of Legal Pluralism and Critical Social Analysis you work in a core editorial team with (at present) two co-editors, with whom you share the regular work of judging submitted papers, finding reviewers and processing assigned papers, and, where appropriate, with the Associate Editors. You have the final responsibility for compiling and determining the content and running order for each issue, and for its timely appearance. With the core editorial team and in consultation with the Associate Editors, you guard the scientific quality of the journal, including its interdisciplinary (socio-legal; social-scientific) focus on legal pluralism. You maintain contacts with the Taylor & Francis representative for the journal. For article processing you work with the Editorial Manager system (for the submission and reviewing process) and CATS (on the production side).

As an (ex officio) member of the Executive Body of the Commission on Legal Pluralism, you attend its meetings (approximately 2-3 times each year) to report and discuss journal issues.

We are looking for a person with the following qualifications:

• Demonstrable scientific interest in legal pluralism, knowledge of scientific debates about legal pluralism, and understanding of its continuing scientific relevance;
• Interdisciplinary (e.g. socio-legal; social and political sciences; political ecology) orientation, evidenced by publications;
• Wide publishing and reviewing experience, including with articles on legal pluralism;
